6 Step Do-It-Yourself Lawn Program 2021
* Step #1: 13-0-6 w/.38% Barricade or .103% Dimension (Apply March 15th - April 15th)
* Covers 10-12k sq ft per 50lb bag
* .426% Barricade prevents crabgrass and other annual weeds from germinating
* Slow release fertilizer keeps grass consistently green up to 6 weeks
* Gives 3/4 lb of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft
* Also great time to apply Solu-Cal Lime and/or Solu-Cal Gypsum
Step #2: 18-0-5 30%SCU w/Lockup & Dicamba (Weed & Feed) Apply April 15th - May 15th
(Recommended for yard full of weeds, otherwise just spot treat & move to Step #3)
* Covers 10-12k sq ft per 50 lb bag
* Slow release fertilizer keeps lawn consistently green
* Lockup+Dicamba are the newest weed killers used on warm cool season turf grasses
* Apply in the morning, on wet grass, on a day without rain
* Gives 3/4 lb of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft
* Step #3: 18-0-4 30%SCU w/1.25 or .164% Dimension (Apply May 1st - June 15th)
* Covers 10-12k sq ft per 50lb bag
* 1.03% Dimension prolongs weed barrier and kills young crabgrass
* Slow release fertilizer keeps lawn consistently green
* Gives 3/4 lb Nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft
Step #4: 16-0-8 30%SCU w/ Allectus Insecticide OR Fungicide (Apply June 1st - July 15th)
* Covers 10-12k sq ft per 50lb bag
* Allectus Insecticide does a contact kill & systemically protects against grubs (with or w/out fert)
* Slow release fertilizer keeps lawn consistently green
* About 3/4 lb of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft
* use an Iron fertilizer for a low stress dark greenup (Solu-Cal 4-0-6 w/5% Iron OR Milorganite)
* Step #5: Over Seed, Starter Fertilizer, & Solu-Cal Lime (Apply Sept. 1st - November 1st)

24-05-11 50%SCU w/5% Iron Lawn Fertilizer (if not planting grass seed) & Solu-Cal Lime
* Covers 10-12k sq ft per 50lb bag
* Grass seed (3-5lbs per 1k sq ft rate), starter fertilizer, and SoluCal Lime
* Core aerate before seeding to loosen soil, ensure seed stabilization, and deeper root growth
* For BEST results, water every day until germination (5-14 days) do not let seed dry out
* Step #6: 32-0-6 Winterizer (Apply October 15th - December 15th)
* Covers 10-12k sq ft per 50lb bag
* 1 lb of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft
* Stores more Nitrogen for winter survival
* Encourages thick and rapid root growth in the Spring. Highly recommended
